Let’s plan a Colorado engagement session!
Your engagement session is a time to relax, have fun and get comfortable having someone capturing your love story. This is a time for me to get to know you as a couple and for you to get to know me as an artist. If you’re here it means you either loved my style enough to let me capture this beautiful moment for you or maybe even put a deposit down so I could capture your wedding. (Such a privilege :’) This is a two hour session and includes a minimum of 60 photos. Plenty of time to go on a little adventure with me and celebrate together. This guide is specifically geared towards Coloradans but could be extrapolated for other locations as well!
How I survive the winter
I don’t know who said it but I read somewhere that “if you choose not to find joy in the snow, you’ll have less joy and the same amount of snow.” I think that’s true for most parts of winter. The cold, the ice, the darkness. Personally, I have always found a lot of joy in the winter. So I may or may not be the perspective you need to survive the winter. I’ve never needed to survive it (the summer on the other hand is trickier for me). However, I do have theories on why the longer nights and colder temperatures don’t bother me much. Since we are less than a month away from the solstice, I thought I would share them with you.
What I learned from the Rockies
Though I intend for my life to be one of movement and change, currently I am situated in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. Colorado has become a home to me in ways I never expected. It has challenged me and inspired me.
